Micron, HP Among Companies Under Investigation by US Trade Regulator
Aug 8, 2024 9:19 AM

11:50 AM EDT, 08/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Micron Technology ( MU ) and HP (HPQ) are among a handful of companies the US International Trade Commission said Thursday it was investigating over the importation and sale of certain NAND memory devices that allegedly infringe patents asserted by MimirIP.

The investigation is based on a complaint filed July 8 by MimirIP alleging violations of the Tariff Act of 1930. The complainant is requesting that the USITC issue a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders, the regulator said.

Neither Micron nor HP immediately responded to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
