10:28 AM EDT, 10/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Micron Technology ( MU ) said Wednesday its 9550 PCIe Gen5 E1.S data center solid-state drives have been included in the Nvidia ( NVDA ) recommended vendor list for the Nvidia GB200 NVL72 system.

Micron said the 9550 solid-state drive is "an ideal fit" for optimizing performance and providing energy-efficient storage in artificial intelligence workloads, such as large-scale training of AI models, Micron said.

Micron shares were down 2.2% and Nvidia ( NVDA ) shares fell 2.7% in recent trading.
