Microsoft Investigating Problems With Microsoft 365 Service Thursday Morning

09:51 AM EDT, 09/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) early Thursday said in an X posting it is investigating an issue that may be stopping users from accessing multiple Microsoft ( MSFT ) 365 services.

The Downdetector.com website also said some of its users were reporting "possible issues with Microsoft Services when connecting through AT&T ( T ) Fiber in the US East region."

A graphic on the outage-tracking website showed more than 24,000 users were experiencing outages shortly after 9 am ET, with reports spiking around 8:30 am ET. An alert indicated the problem was possibly related to issues with Microsoft's ( MSFT ) Azure cloud computing platform.

The X feed for Microsoft Azure, however, did not have any new posts since Wednesday.

Microsoft ( MSFT ) did not immediately respond to email requests from MT Newswires seeking comment.
