05:27 AM EDT, 09/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) said late Monday its board has increased its quarterly dividend by 10% to $0.83 per share, payable Dec. 12 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 21.

Additionally, the tech giant's board approved a new stock repurchase plan for up to $60 billion. The new repurchase program has no expiration date, the company said.

Microsoft's ( MSFT ) stock rose 2% in Tuesday premarket activity.
