Warner Bros. Discovery International Signs Partnership Deal to Promote Saudi Arabian Resort

10:15 AM EDT, 05/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Warner Bros. Discovery ( WBD ) unit Warner Bros. Discovery International and Soudah Development, a real estate development firm owned by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, said Wednesday that they have signed a partnership deal to promote a planned luxury resort in the country.

The one-year partnership will focus on promoting Soudah Peaks, a luxury mountain tourism destination to be built in Saudi Arabia. Under the agreement, Warner Bros. Discovery ( WBD ) will produce three short-form documentaries that will highlight the area's natural landscapes, cultural heritage, architecture, historical sites, and monuments.

The documentaries will be shown WBD's TV channels Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, and Eurosport 1 and 2. They will also be available on digital via Discovery YouTube channel, VOX MEDIA's social networks, and Discovery Channel Weibo in China.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
