06:16 AM EDT, 03/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT )-backed (MSFT) OpenAI will start showing ads to its free and Go users of ChatGPT in the US in the coming weeks, two media outlets reported over the weekend, citing the startup.

OpenAI is using Criteo (CRTO) as its first advertising technology partner, integrating with OpenAI's advertising pilot in ChatGPT's free and Go versions in the US, the latter said earlier this month.

OpenAI did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
