04:59 PM EDT, 05/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Mid-America Apartment Communities ( MAA ) said late Monday its operating partnership priced a $400 million offering of 5.3% senior unsecured notes due Feb. 15, 2032, at 99.496% of the principal amount.

The company expects the offering to close May 22 and plans to use net proceeds to repay borrowings outstanding under its unsecured commercial paper program, among other uses.
