Millicom International Cellular Q1 Earnings, Revenue Rise

07:23 AM EDT, 05/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Millicom International Cellular ( TIGO ) reported Q1 diluted earnings Wednesday of $0.53 per share, up from $0.02 a year earlier.

A single analyst surveyed by Capital IQ expected $0.66.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $1.49 billion, up from $1.37 billion a year earlier.

Three analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.45 billion.

The company's shares were up 3% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
