09:48 AM EDT, 07/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Molina Healthcare ( MOH ) said Friday that the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration has awarded its Molina Healthcare of Florida unit a new Medicaid managed care contract.

Molina said the contract award specifies that it would serve 90,000 Medicaid beneficiaries in Florida's Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties.

The contract is slated to take effect Jan. 1 and run until Dec. 31, 2030.

The value of the contract was not disclosed.
