10:41 AM EDT, 09/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Momentus ( MNTS ) said Friday that it will collaborate with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA, to work at the classified level to support the US Department of Defense's Space Superiority mission.

As part of DARPA's Bringing Classified Innovation to Defense and Government Systems consortium, Momentus ( MNTS ) will be able to communicate directly with DoD's clients at classified levels after obtaining site and personnel clearances, the company said.

Additionally, Momentus ( MNTS ) said it will have access to Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities managed by the MITRE Corp.

Shares of the company were up 1.8% in recent Friday trading.
