Synchrony Financial Brings CareCredit Cards to Albertsons' Stores

01:25 PM EDT, 09/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Synchrony Financial ( SYF ) on Wednesday disclosed a partnership with Albertsons ( ACI ) allowing consumers to use its CareCredit credit card to pay for drug prescriptions and over-the-counter health and wellness items at the retailers' nearly 2,200 stores.

Synchrony said the deal extends its CareCredit card to Albertsons' ( ACI ) namesake stores as well as its Safeway, Vons, ACME, Shaw's and Jewel-Osco stores.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Shares of Synchrony fell 1.1% in recent trading, while Albertsons ( ACI ) was marginally higher.
