Morgan Stanley Engaging With the US Fed on a Final Capital Buffer Requirement

04:38 PM EDT, 08/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Morgan Stanley ( MS ) said late Friday that the US Federal System was reviewing its request for a downward adjustment to the company's preliminary stress capital buffer requirement.

The company is engaging with the Federal Reserve to finalize a capital buffer requirement before the Oct. 1 effective date, according to a statement.
