Motorcar Parts of America Shares Rise After Swing to Q1 Net Income Amid Higher Revenue; Fiscal 2026 Sales Guidance Lifted

10:02 AM EDT, 08/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Motorcar Parts of America ( MPAA ) shares were up nearly 25% in recent Monday trading after the company swung to fiscal Q1 net income amid higher revenue and raised its fiscal 2026 net sales guidance.

The company reported fiscal Q1 net income of $0.15 per diluted share, swinging from a loss of $0.92 a year earlier.

An analyst polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.20.

Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 was $188.4 million, up from $169.9 million a year earlier.

The analyst surveyed by FactSet expected $172 million.

Motorcar Parts of America ( MPAA ) said it now expects fiscal 2026 revenue of $800 million to $820 million, compared with its earlier guidance of $780 million to $800 million.

An analyst polled by FactSet expects $800 million.
