09:55 AM EDT, 03/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Motorola Solutions ( MSI ) said Wednesday it is providing 4,000 VB400 body cameras to Austria's police forces.

The cameras will allow "front-line teams to de-escalate potentially dangerous situations, capture evidence during operations and improve safety and transparency in all interactions," the company said.

The cameras will be provided with software to manage and store evidential footage, Motorola Solutions ( MSI ) said.

Financial details weren't disclosed.
