MOVES-Aramco Trading names former Motiva manager as senior crude trader
Apr 30, 2024 9:20 AM

HOUSTON, April 30 (Reuters) - Andrew Morales, a strategy

and business manager at Motiva Enterprises, has joined Aramco

Trading Americas as a senior crude trader, according to an

internal memo seen by Reuters.

Morales previously worked at Navitas Midstream Partners,

Devon Energy ( DVN ) and Enterprise Products ( EPD ), according

to his LinkedIn profile and the memo.

He will report to Dan House, who took over as head of crude

trading at Aramco Trading Americas in January. The unit was

launched 15 months ago after Aramco acquired Motiva

Trading.

Some traders at the U.S. unit briefly walked off the job in

late March to protest lower-than-expected bonuses and the

deferral of some bonus payments, people familiar with the matter

have said.

An Aramco crude oil trader, David Herel, left the company

last week.
