Musk's Neuralink Raises $650 Million in Funding Round, Begins Global Neurosurgical Trials

04:09 PM EDT, 06/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Elon Musk's Neuralink raised $650 million via a series E funding round.

Key investors included Sequoia Capital, Founders Fund, ARK Invest, the Qatar Investment Authority

and Thrive Capital, among others, Neuralink said Monday in a blog post.

The company said it started clinical trials for neurosurgical care in three countries, and five patients with severe paralysis are currently using Neuralink to control digital and physical devices with their thoughts.
