06:51 AM EDT, 10/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Mustang Energy ( MECPF ) late on Thursday said it has acquired 45,585 hectares of prospective land across the southern and western Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan.
The properties include the 21,820-hectare Yellowstone project, the 9,666-hectare Dutton project, and three additional claims amounting to 14,098 hectares. The claims are located in uranium-rich areas, the company said.
With the acquisitions, Mustang's total land holdings in the Athabasca Basin increased to 56,229 hectares from 10,644 hectares.
Mustang also completed the acquisition of a 90% interest in the Brown Lake project under a mineral property acquisition agreement with Standard Uranium SK. Mustang issued 60,000 shares at $0.33 per share to Standard Uranium SK's parent company Standard Uranium as payment.
