05:21 AM EDT, 07/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nano Dimension ( NNDM ) said late Monday its Desktop Metal unit has filed for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code.

Desktop Metal's board made the decision after evaluating strategic alternatives to address its "significant" liabilities and liquidity challenges arising from decisions by the company's former management, Nano Dimension ( NNDM ) said.

The company's shares were down 1.4% in recent premarket activity Tuesday.
