04:25 AM EDT, 06/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nasdaq (NDAQ) said Monday it has agreed to help modernize Indonesia Stock Exchange as part of an expanded partnership.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Indonesia Stock Exchange will upgrade its trading platform to "Nasdaq's most advanced matching engine," capable of handling digital asset trades as well as equities, foreign currencies and derivatives, the company said. Nasdaq will also expand its monitoring services partnership with Indonesia Stock Exchange.

The "scalable trading platform will quadruple transaction capacity and support development of Indonesian economy," Nasdaq said.
