12:40 PM EST, 01/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Navient ( NAVI ) signed an agreement to sell its government Services business to Gallant Capital Partners, the latter said Monday.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

The acquisition is expected to close in Q1 2025, pending certain conditions, Gallant Capital Partners said.

Shares of Navient ( NAVI ) were up 3.5% in recent trading.
