09:48 AM EST, 02/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Navigator Holdings ( NVGS ) said Wednesday it has closed the acquisition of the first of three handysize liquefied ethylene gas carriers under a deal announced Jan. 7.

The purchase and delivery of the 17,000 cubic meter capacity gas carrier is the first of the three that Navigator is buying to support the expanded export capacity from its Export Terminal Joint Venture, the company said.

The delivery of the remaining two vessels is anticipated between February and May, Navigator added.
