01:58 PM EDT, 08/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Paramount Global's ( PARAA ) CBS Sports said Friday that Netflix ( NFLX ) has picked the it to produce the two National Football League Christmas Day games on the streamer this year

The games will be the Kansas City Chiefs versus the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens versus the Houston Texans, Netflix ( NFLX ) and the NFL announced in May.

The one-year agreement will focus only on the production of the games, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday.

The announcing talent for the game will be announced later, CBS Sports added.

Friday's news was first reported by the Journal.

Netflix ( NFLX ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
