Netflix Teams With AMC for Early Theatrical Screening of 'Stranger Things' Animated Spinoff

03:57 PM EDT, 03/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Netflix ( NFLX ) has partnered with AMC Entertainment ( AMC ) for limited theatrical screenings of its upcoming animated series, "Stranger Things: Tales From '85", ahead of its Netflix ( NFLX ) premiere.

Select AMC theatres will offer early screenings of the first two episodes of the animated spinoff of the popular show Stranger Things on April 18, before the show's global release on April 23.

The screenings will take place across 34 theatres in the US, along with the Paris Theatre in New York and Netflix House Philadelphia.

Shares of Netflix ( NFLX ) fell more than 1%, while AMC rose around 2.2% in recent trading.
