NetScout Systems Fiscal Q1 Non-GAAP Earnings, Revenue Fall; 2025 Outlook Reaffirmed

10:18 AM EDT, 07/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- NetScout Systems ( NTCT ) shares rose nearly 15% in recent Thursday trading after the company posted higher-than-expected fiscal Q1 results.

The company reported fiscal Q1 non-GAAP earnings Thursday of $0.28 per diluted share, down from $0.31 a year earlier.

One analyst polled by Capital IQ expected $0.11.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $174.6 million, down from $211.1 million a year earlier.

One analyst surveyed by Capital IQ expected $167 million.

The company said it continues to expect fiscal 2025 non-GAAP earnings of $2.10 to $2.30 per diluted share.

A single analyst polled by Capital IQ expects $2.20.

Revenue for the fiscal year is still expected between $800 million and $830 million.

One analyst surveyed by Capital IQ expects $829.5 million.
