Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of $0.43.

Total revenue for the quarter ended June 30, expressed as the sum of net interest income and total noninterest income, was $671 million, down from $1.20 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $723.9 million.

Shares of the company were down more than 13% in recent premarket activity.
