07:10 AM EDT, 07/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Newcore Gold ( NCAUF ) on Wednesday said it intersected multiple zones of near-surface gold mineralization at the Enchi gold project in Ghana.
Highlights of new drill results include 0.89 grams per tonne gold over 33 meters from 1 meter and 3.98 g/t gold over 6 meters from 2 meters, including a higher-grade interval of 22.6 g/t gold over 1 meter from 7 meters.
Drilling on the Sewum deposit's Ridge Zone continues to define a series of stacked sub-parallel gold mineralized structures across an average of 250 meters. Gold mineralization was consistently defined over a length of 800 meters.
Multiple sections of drilling at the Ridge Zone encountered shallow gold mineralization within the oxide and transition horizons.
Sewum is the largest of the five deposits comprising the mineral resource estimate at Enchi, remaining open along strike and to depth. Sewum has an indicated mineral resource of 20.9 million tonnes grading 0.48 g/t gold containing 323,300 ounces and inferred mineral resource of 21.8 million tonnes grading 0.53 g/t gold containing 373,100 ounces.
