News Corp Extends CEO Robert Thomson's Term Through 2030

04:09 AM EDT, 06/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- News Corp ( NWSA ) said Sunday it has extended Robert Thomson's tenure as chief executive officer through June 2030.

Under Thomson's leadership, the company reported its most profitable years from 2021 to 2024 and continues to perform strongly in 2025.

The company also reduced its reliance on cyclical advertising, doubled Dow Jones' profitability, and reshaped its portfolio by selling Foxtel and acquiring OPIS and Base Chemicals, it added.
