03:50 PM EST, 02/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- NexPoint Hospitality Trust (NHT-U.V) on Friday unitholders voted to approve the merger of the trust with NexPoint Diversified Real Estate Trust ( NXDT ) .

The trust said 100% of votes were cast in favor of the merger at its annual meeting.

Unitholders will receive for each trust unit, either US$0.36 cash; or one share of NexPoint Hospitality Trust, which will subsequently be converted into the right to receive shares of NXDT.
