09:08 AM EDT, 04/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- NextEra Energy Partners ( NEP ) reported Q1 earnings Tuesday of $0.75 per common unit, swinging from a loss of $0.17 a year earlier.

Operating revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $257 million, up from $245 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $313.9 million.

The company declared a dividend of $0.8925 per common unit, up 6% from the previous quarter, payable May 15 to unitholders of record May 7.

Shares were up nearly 4.5% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
