NODWIN Gaming's Singapore arm acquires game marketing agency PublishME for $2 million

The Singapore subsidiary of gaming and e-sports media company NODWIN Gaming has acquired 100 percent stake in game marketing agency PublishME for a sum of $2 million from its existing shareholders Nazara Technologies and Ozgur Ozalp.

NODWIN Gaming is a material subsidiary of Nazara Technologies Ltd.

Taking about the acquisition, Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder and Managing Director, NODWIN Gaming said, “This strategic acquisition not only brings in a host of new opportunities but also paves the way for a multitude of fresh possibilities for us as a leading gaming and e-sports media company. NODWIN Gaming continues to expand its presence across the globe, with particular emphasis on pivotal emerging markets."

PublishME will rename itself NODWIN Gaming in the Middle East but retain the PublishME name in its original market in Turkey. PublishME founder Ozgur Ozalp will transition to the CEO of NODWIN Gaming Dubai.

PublishME, a gaming marketing agency, has its offices in Turkey and UAE. It connects brands with gamers and offers game launch plans, social media management, sponsorship, and activations to its partners.

Earlier this year, NODWIN Gaming signed a definitive and binding documentation to raise $28 million, or Rs 232 crore, from new and existing investors.

As of the March quarter, Nazara Tech had cash and equivalents worth Rs 628 crore. The company witnessed a 92 percent increase in consolidated profit at Rs 9.4 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2023. The digital gaming and sports platform had logged a profit of Rs 4.9 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago. NODWIN Gaming signed another definitive and binding documentation in May to raise $28 million, or Rs 232 crore, from new and existing investors.
