Norfolk Southern Names Brian Barr Chief Mechanical Officer

04:52 PM EDT, 09/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Norfolk Southern ( NSC ) said late Thursday it appointed Brian Barr as its chief mechanical officer.

Barr joins Norfolk from Union Pacific where he held the positions like general manager of Great Lakes Services and senior vice president of transportation, the company said.

Barr will report to Chief Operating Officer John Orr.
