12:13 PM EDT, 05/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Northstar Clean Technologies ( ROOOF ) on Friday said its first-quarter loss widened on higher spending as it readies to open a Clagary, Alberta, asphalt-shingle recycling facility.
The company said it lost $2.95 million, or $0.02 per share, in the period, compared with a year-prior loss of $1.58 million, or $0.01.
The net cash flow for operating activities in 2025 Q1 are $2.33 million, up from $1.20 million in the same period the previous year, with an $0.01 per share.
The company reported no revenue in either period. Capital expenditures were $4.08 million, up from $1.84 million, as it completed construction of the Empower Calgary Facility, which is expected to begin operations by mid year.
Northstar shares were last seen down $0.005 to $0.345 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
