Novo Nordisk probably won't be able to avoid layoffs, outgoing CEO tells broadcaster DR

COPENHAGEN, Aug 6 (Reuters) - Wegovy-maker Novo Nordisk

will probably not be able to avoid layoffs, although

no decision has been made yet, the company's outgoing CEO Lars

Fruergaard Jorgensen told Danish broadcaster DR on Wednesday.

It will be up to the incoming CEO Mike Doustdar, who takes

over on Thursday, to make such a decision, he added.
