11:25 AM EST, 11/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) said Monday it has agreed to buy Benchmark Genetics, a Norwegian fish genetics company, from Benchmark Holdings for up to 260 million British pounds ($326.5 million).

Benchmark Genetics specializes in salmonid genetics, providing eggs and services to farmers in Norway, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Chile, and other regions, Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) said.
