06:49 AM EDT, 06/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Novo Nordisk A/S ( NVO ) said Tuesday that its Wegovy weight loss weekly injectable drug has been approved in China for long-term weight management.

The drug will initially be available to patients who have a body mass index that falls under the category of obese and have at least one weight-related comorbidity, the company said.
