10:56 AM EDT, 07/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Novo Resources ( NSRPF ) reported Wednesday significant high-grade gold results from its maiden drilling program at the Tibooburra gold project in New South Wales, Australia.
Results from the Clone prospect include 12 meters at 5.90 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, including 5 meters at 13.74 g/t gold; and 17 meters at 2.40 g/t gold including 9 meters at 4.14 g/t gold. The company's drill program comprised 1,984 meters, testing 500 meters of strike.
"Results from the RC drill program at the Clone prospect include two intercepts above 40 mxg gold, where drilling has successfully intersected high-grade near-surface gold mineralization consistent with a shallow plunging shoot," said Mike Spreadborough, Novo's executive co-chairman and acting CEO. "The consistency of grade and thickness over a 300-meter strike is very encouraging."
Novo plans to conduct followup drilling to extend gold mineralization to the north, as well as systematic exploration programs along the full project strike length testing mineralized trends to identify potential drill targets.
Novo traded 5% higher at last look at $0.11 on the TSX.
