Nuburu to Acquire Italian Software Company Orbit

09:18 AM EDT, 10/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nuburu ( BURU ) said Tuesday that its unit, Nuburu Defense, has signed a binding agreement to acquire Italian software company Orbit.

Nuburu ( BURU ) said its unit will subscribe up to $5 million in Orbit's capital within 36 months, starting with a $1.5 million advance for a 10.7% equity, and that the unit will buy the remaining stake at a $12.5 million pre-money valuation by Dec. 31, 2026.

Nuburu ( BURU ) said it plans to integrate Orbit's software-as-a-service technology within its own laser systems.

Nuburu ( BURU ) said Orbit expects to generate revenue of $3.22 million by 2026, $10.75 million by 2027, and $19.29 million by 2028.

Nuburu ( BURU ) said its executive chairman and co-chief executive officer, Alessandro Zamboni, owns Orbit.
