07:20 AM EDT, 03/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- NVent Electric ( NVT ) said Monday it has agreed to acquire the electrical products group of Avail Infrastructure Solutions for $975 million.

NVent said it expects the deal to be accretive to adjusted earnings per share in the first year post-transaction.

The acquisition, which includes Avail's enclosures, switchgear and bus systems businesses, which have about 1,100 employees and nine manufacturing locations in the US, is expected to close in H1 2025 and be be funded with available cash, the company said.

Shares of nVent were 0.7% lower in premarket trading.
