Nvidia CEO says not sought licenses to ship Blackwell AI chip to China yet

Oct 28 (Reuters) - Nvidia ( NVDA ) CEO Jensen Huang said

on Tuesday the artificial intelligence chip leader has not yet

sought licenses from the U.S. government to ship its Blackwell

AI processors to China.

"We haven't sought it yet because...they've made it very

clear that they don't Nvidia ( NVDA ) to be there, for whatever reasons.

I hope that will change in the future because I think China is a

very important market." Huang said, answering journalists'

questions at the company's AI event being held in Washington,

D.C.
