04:33 AM EST, 11/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nvidia's ( NVDA ) most advanced artificial intelligence chips will be reserved for US companies and will not be for China and other countries, news outlets reported Sunday, citing US President Donald Trump.

"The most advanced (chips), we will not let anybody have them other than the United States," Trump reportedly said in an interview with CBS. "We don't give (the Blackwell) chip to other people."

The move will help the US maintain an edge in the global AI race, according to the reports.

Nvidia ( NVDA ) didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

The company's shares were up 1.2% in recent premarket activity Monday.
