04:26 PM EDT, 04/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- NXP Semiconductors ( NXPI ) reported Q1 non-GAAP net income Monday of $3.24 per diluted share, up from $3.19 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $3.18.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $3.13 billion, up from $3.12 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ projected $3.13 billion.

For Q2, the chipmaker said it expects non-GAAP EPS of $3.00 to $3.41. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $3.11. The company also expects revenue for the quarter of $3.03 billion to $3.23 billion. Analysts expect $3.11 billion.

NXP shares were up more than 4% in recent after-hours activity.
