Obsidian Energy Closes Undersubscribed Tender Offer for Senior Notes Due 2027

07:48 AM EDT, 08/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Obsidian Energy ( OBE ) said Friday it has closed its previously announced tender offer to buy up to $48.4 million of its outstanding 11.95% senior unsecured notes due July 2027 for cash.

The offer, launched on July 31, was undersubscribed with only about $1.4 million principal amount of notes validly tendered by expiration on Aug. 12.

The oil and gas producer said $110.8 million of notes were outstanding after the closing.

Shares of the company were down 1.4% in recent Friday premarket activity.
