Ocean Power Ships Multiple Unmanned Surface Vehicles to US Government -- Shares Rise Pre-Bell

08:51 AM EDT, 09/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ocean Power Technologies ( OPTT ) said Friday that it has shipped multiple unmanned surface vehicles, or WAM-Vs, to an unidentified US Government department under a previously signed contract.

Financial and other terms of the deal were not disclosed "due to the sensitive nature of this relationship," the company said.

Shares of Ocean Power Technologies ( OPTT ) were up more than 5% in recent premarket activity.
