09:44 AM EDT, 04/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ocean Power Technologies ( OPTT ) said Friday it will expand its commercial reach in Latin America through a reseller agreement signed with Colombia-based hydrographic and oceanographic instrumentation services firm Elektron.

Elektron will offer sales, integration and support services under the deal, which includes a $4 million purchase commitment for Ocean Power Technologies' ( OPTT ) intelligent maritime technologies, the company said.

The company's shares were up 3.2% in early trading Friday.
