Oddity Tech to Repurchase $100 Million of Shares From L Catterton Managed Fund

05:45 PM EST, 11/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Oddity Tech ( ODD ) entered a deal with a fund managed by L Catterton to repurchase about 2.35 million of its Class A ordinary shares at $42.501 apiece for roughly $100 million, Oddity said late Wednesday.

The company said it plans to fund the deal from its cash resources.

The transaction is independent of the company's standing share buyback plan to repurchase up to $150 million over three years.

After the closing, L Catterton will own about four million shares, representing roughly 7% of the Oddity's ordinary shares outstanding as of Sept. 30.

Both brands (Maaza and Limca) were acquired by The Coca-Cola Company along with Thums Up from Ramesh Chauhan of Parle Bisleri in 1993, when the Atlanta-headquartered company had re-entered the Indian market. On being asked about Maaza and Limca performance, Coca-Cola President (India and Southwest Asia) Sanket Ray told PTI, "Both the brands are doing well." In India, currently, Maaza is ranked at No. 3 brand and Limca is the sixth brand in terms of sales volume in the overall beverage category, said Ray while citing market data from Nielsen.

GAIL in the process of getting an authorisation from the PNGRB for the 425-km Gurudaspur (in Punjab) to Srinagar pipeline via Jammu, its chairman and managing director Manoj Jain said. GAIL will by May 2023 complete a 700-km pipeline from Mumbai to Nagpur, enabling the flow of gas to central India.
