10:28 AM EDT, 08/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Oklo ( OKLO ) said Tuesday it has signed a preferred supplier agreement with Siemens Energy for the Aurora powerhouse's power conversion system.

Under the agreement, Siemens Energy, a supplier of steam turbine and generator technology, will supply the power conversion and supporting systems for Oklo's ( OKLO ) powerhouses, the company said.

Oklo ( OKLO ) said it expects standardizing equipment across its powerhouses to result in cost savings in manufacturing, construction, operations, and maintenance.
