Omnicom, Interpublic Finalize Agreement With FTC on 'Mutually Acceptable' Consent Order
Sep 29, 2025 2:39 AM

05:26 AM EDT, 09/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Omnicom Group ( OMC ) and Interpublic Group (IPG) said late Friday the US Federal Trade Commission finalized its agreement with the companies on a "mutually acceptable" consent order.

The agreement "reaffirms our commitment to provide neutral and unbiased advice to clients in making decisions about their brand media placements," Omnicom ( OMC ) Chief Executive John Wren said.

In June, Omnicom ( OMC ) said the FTC completed its antitrust review of the company's proposed acquisition of Interpublic and approved a consent order agreed upon by both companies.
