05:52 PM EDT, 04/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Onemednet ( ONMD ) on Tuesday said President Aaron Green succeeds retiring Chief Executive Paul Casey.

Green also joined the company's board, according to Onemednet ( ONMD ).

Separately, the company said it raised about $4.5 million from the private placement of senior convertible notes to an institutional investor. Onemednet ( ONMD ) plans to use the net proceeds for working capital.

Shares of the company surged almost 38% in after-hours activity.
