Onto Innovation Q1 Non-GAAP Earnings, Revenue Rise; Q2 Outlook Set; Shares Rise After Hours

04:35 PM EDT, 05/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Onto Innovation ( ONTO ) reported Q1 non-GAAP earnings Thursday of $1.18 per diluted share, up from $0.92 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.08.

Revenue in the quarter ended March 30 rose to $228.8 million from $199.2 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $222.6 million.

The company expects Q2 non-GAAP EPS of $1.14 to $1.26 on revenue of $230 million to $240 million. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect EPS of $1.12 on revenue of $227 million.

Shares of the company climbed 1.7% in after-hours trading.
