Orion Mine Finance Closes Sale Of Capstone Copper Shares

08:04 AM EDT, 04/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Orion Mine Finance Management LP said Wednesday that Orion Fund JV Ltd., Orion Mine Finance Fund II LP and Orion Mine Finance (Master) Fund I-A LP ompleted the previously announced sale of 62,400,000 CHESS depository interests of Capstone Copper Corp. ( CSCCF ) for A$592.8 million.

Following the sale, the Orion group's stake in Capstone fell to 12.0% from 20.3%.

The Orion group said the share disposal was made as a result of investment considerations including price, market conditions, availability of funds, evaluation of alternative investments and other factors.

Capstone gained 2.3% yesterday, when it provided a MVDP commissioning update.
